While you might not expect to find it here, Beringen has a beautiful blueberry farm. With its 15 hectares, it is the largest in the country. Blueberry Fields is more than just  blueberries. A visit is a spa treatment in itself. You can relax on the edge of the scenic area ‘De vallei van de Zwarte Beek’ (The Valley of the Black Brook). Several themed walks are mapped out. And, of course, you can have a taste of this healthy delicious drink. If you want, you can pick the blueberries yourself during the Blueberry Days which take place late June/early July. Tasty!
